Adults with Developmental Disabilities
- 2,380 receive Service Coordination/Case Management.
- 1,044 receive 24-hour Comprehensive Services including foster care, residential services, and comprehensive in-home supports.
- 879 receive Community Support/Brokerage Services.
- 1,456 are known to be waiting for services.
Children (0-18) with Developmental Disabilities
- 1,011 receive Service Coordination/Case Management.
- 206 receive 24-hour Comprehensive Services including foster care, residential, and comprehensive in-home supports.
- 30 receive Intensive In-Home Supports, which includes children who require significant supports because of behavior or medical needs.
- 284 receive Family Support Services, which include respite care or other assistance to help children in family homes.
- 175 families are eligible but not receiving Family Support Services.
Approximately 7,015 people in Multnomah County experience a developmental disability.
Services to people with developmental disabilities contribute more than $68 million dollars per year to the local economy through jobs, wages, and the purchase of services and supplies in Multnomah County.
