Adults with Developmental Disabilities
- 1,011 receive Service Coordination/Case Management.
- 459 receive 24-hour Comprehensive Services including foster care, residential services, and comprehensive in-home supports.
- 455 receive Community Support/Brokerage Services.
- 557 are known to be waiting for services.
Children (0-18) with Developmental Disabilities
- 490 receive Service Coordination/Case Management.
- 56 receive 24-hour Comprehensive Services including foster care, residential, and comprehensive in-home supports.
- 26 receive Intensive In-Home Supports, which includes children who require significant supports because of behavior or medical needs.
- 217 receive Family Support Services, which include respite care or other assistance to help children in family homes.
- 123 families are eligible but not receiving Family Support Services.
Approximately 5,005 people in Washington County experience a developmental disability.
Services to people with developmental disabilities contribute more than $26.6 million dollars per year to the local economy through jobs, wages, and the purchase of services and supplies in Washington County.
